BELIEVE To Trust the World is a Magical Place is a photographic essay imagined by Jonas Lindstroem which reads as an elegy to our world. As someone who belongs to the new wave of image makers, his mission has been to question and reveal the veracity of our experiences. We are being asked to recognise, to feel. Not to think, to Believe, not judge. It is to see our human connection and disconnection; our intimacy and alienation as we live amongst each other in a challenging yet extraordinary world. Gentle, complex imagery plucked from a narrative and staged as vignettes. The artist has taken us on a journey, the frequency of the works gathering in confidence as he asks us to pause and consider what it is to live.
